You Have Not Made the Jump Because You Think You're Better Than God

Trust is a bold, confident, sure action based on security. Trust is what we do because of the faith we have been given. The outcome of faith is trust – which we prove by living in God's promises each day.

Trust is an action based on security—you haven't made any moves because you do not trust God. You have not made any changes because you do not trust God. You have been stagnant because you do not trust God.

You have actually made up in your own mind that your way of doing things is better than God's and you have decided to trust your own way of thinking.

You want to be your own God in your life.

You were once like me, and some days I am still that person. However, when we know that the consequence of faith is trust, we live in God promises which are followed by actions.

Prior to starting my own company, I acted on my own logic and understanding. I completely acted out of safety and fear. If it did not make sense to me, I did not do it.

Once I spent more time with God and studied what the word said about me and who I am, I started to believe it. I started to believe that I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I started to live by Philippians 4:8 which says, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." I started to believe that what the bible says about me is true.

I made a jump and I have been making jumps since then. I try almost everything I feel is lead from God at least once, because now I know that faith and trust require actions.

Trust promises peace.

When you trust God, you have a new peace. Why? Because you now understand how little control you truly have.

When we think we have a lot of control, we fall into an "I can fix it" or "What should I do?" mindset. That mindset brings a lot of pressure and anxiety because we think everything good or bad will fall on us.

Once we get to a place where we know that we can only control the things we can control, we realize that we cannot control anything. We cannot control people, outcomes, situations, or things. Only God can do that. Trust God and have peace—it is a much better way of living.

Stop trying to be the God in your life, that position has been filled already. Just jump.

Stop procrastinating a new change, a new business, a new hobby, or even a decision.

If you have faith in God, prove it. Do it today.
