Yes, Beyoncé Sneezes Too

By Bri'Ann Stephens

It's a bird, it's a plane... It's Beyoncé! Yesterday, during her Tuesday night performance, the entertainment mogul sneezed and it shocked the world. You would think her sneeze caused some sort of supernatural event to occur, but it did not.

You would think her sneeze caused some sort of supernatural event to occur, but it did not.

She sneezed and 45,000 people blessed her and continued to cheer her on. Apparently, sneezing is a pretty big deal when you are considered a superhuman. She proved her superhuman abilities during the 2016 Super Bowl performance. After slipping in front of 115.5 million viewers, instead of falling or messing up the choreography she quickly got in formation and gave us an amazing performance. Not to mention that time she dropped a self-titled album without any promotion and sold 617,000 copies in the U.S. and 828,773 copies worldwide in its first three days.

There are many things I could list to back up her extraordinary record, but that is not what I want you to focus on. Since Destiny's Child, Beyoncé has been seen as...well...perfect and we agree to a certain extent. However, Beyoncé is human just like you and I. Her latest album, Lemonade, is confirmation. Through amazing spoken word, powerful images and inspiring women, she made us all realize we are more like one another than we would like to believe. She goes through the everyday things of life that all women go through. But because she is constantly judged, she has to wear a mask for the public. Though it is unfair, this is the world we live in. However, there are true fans who love and support her regardless of her personal life—fans who will say "bless you," simply because of who she is. Beyoncé is a daughter, a mother, a wife, a friend, and a woman just like the rest of us...and yes, she sneezes too.
