By Isabella Rolz

Is Monday your favorite day of the week? No? Well it’s not my favorite day either. But, Mondays are typically when many of us aim to achieve the various personal and professional goals we have set for ourselves, so why not start this Monday with a bit of motivation. Below are 6 quotes to help jumpstart your Monday.

P.S. Many of them are anonymous, which goes to show you that you never know the type of impact your words will have on those around you, so make today great!

1.    The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. – Albert Einstein.

After reading this I realized every single word of this quote is completely true. Imagination is such a powerful weapon; it can take the usual to extraordinary levels. The most successful people are most of the time, exceptionally creative and very imaginative.

Albert Einstein, for example, was a creative genius that changed not only the world, but the future of science as well. Many thought he was insane, but he really wasn’t, he had only a tremendously creative mind, with the power to make incredible changes.

2.    Believe that the impossible is possible, and it’ll become possible. – Alice in Wonderland

This is definitely another key to success. Since I came across this quote, it has been repeated in my head countless times. It is so true, sometimes we believe that some obstacles are impossible to overcome – but they really aren’t. It’s all in our mind. If we are confident enough to believe that we can accomplish anything than we will do just that. We’ll find a way to do the impossible

3.    I am a daydreamer and a nightthinker. – Anonymous

This quote perfectly describes me, and that’s why I could not hesitate to share it. I’ve always been a daydreamer. I was told by the teachers in school to focus more and to stop daydreaming so much. But it actually has worked for me, before going to bed I stare at the stars and think about my personal goals for hours.

Then I wake up, and during the day I daydream about the craziest stuff, and most of the times, it is this stuff that has brought me the best surprises.

4.    Everything you do now is for your future. Think about that. –   Anonymous

When entering adulthood, one has to take in consideration that everything one does from now on will have an essential impact on the future. Life is too short to settle and to stop taking care of what’s going to happen eventually.

Life is too short to settle and to stop taking care of what’s going to happen eventually.

Personally, the best people I’ve met in my life, are the ones that are minded enough to set goals for the future years. The majority of the things they do in the present will benefit them in the future.

5.    I’ve never met a strong person with an easy past. –  Anonymous

Agreed. Everyone has a story to tell, but the most interesting stories are the ones warriors have. These commonly begin with a rough past, but end with a very successful and happy ending.

Strong people carry the most intriguing pasts, but these people are the most pleasing to meet.

6.    Don’t tell people your dreams. Show them.        – Anonymous

One’s dreams are personal; nobody else has to really know about them until one finds the way to make them real. I have a friend who was told he could never become a pilot but he denied the opinions of his haters. Five years later, after graduating with honors from a magnificent university, he’s now in training to become a professional pilot. His trick was to never tell anyone he was working on his dreams…until he found the way to make them true
