How was your childhood? Do you have any memories that stick out?
As an army brat my childhood was different. I went to 3 different high schools and was an athlete, so it was struggle to stay committed to one team. But I made a lot of friends and had the opportunity to travel all around the world.
What has shaped you into the person you are today?
My life experiences have shaped me into the person I am today. Living in a third world country straight out of high school for 3 years made me appreciate being without basic necessities, it gave me a different perspective about life. Losing two best friends at young ages taught me to never take things and people for granted.
Are there any insecurities you have overcome?
Overcoming public speaking! It was a big insecurity for me, but I am slowly but surely getting better and better.
What do you listen to as far as music?
I listen to a lot of Indie Artists that are underground. I love TRAP music and a lot of remixed songs from very talented producers.
How did you get started as a DJ?
My father and brother are both DJs so it’s in my blood line.. I have an amazing ear for music and I knew that it was meant for me to get into because I found myself always thinking about it, I couldn’t get away from it.
How do you like working with 93.7 the beat?
I love working with 93.7 The Beat. I am truly blessed and want to take this opportunity to showcase my talents. But more importantly, I want to be an example to other women. I want to show them that in a male dominated industry us women can go just as HARD. It’s also amazing to be able to connect with different people, whether it’s listening to upcoming artists or just having people who support me.
What do you have planned for your future, as far as being a DJ and your future in general?
I plan to use this platform to become a DJ/Personality. I would like to have my own radio or TV show. Also, my goal is to get into producing my own music and working with major artists and putting out international hits.
